Result of cash placing

Further to this morning's announcement of the proposed share placing, Electronics Boutique announces that 17.2 million new ordinary shares of 5p have been successfully placed by Hoare Govett Limited at a Tender Price of 103p per share, determined through an accelerated bookbuild process. The Tender Price represents an approximate 3% premium to the mid-market share price at close of business yesterday. The placing proceeds will therefore be approximately £17.7 million before expenses.
