GAME’s 24 hour online bonanza returns for Halloween

GAME will launch another online 24 hour ‘stock ticker’ promotion this week to celebrate Halloween, it is announced today.
Following the enormous success of the concept at its launch in July*, customers will again be offered the opportunity to buy a selection of 24 products at massive discounts through GAME’s online store – www.game.uk.com
A new product will be made available each hour starting at 00:01am on 31 October, and all will be linked to Halloween.
There will be a limited quantity of each item, all of which will be bought on a first come, first served basis. Each product is only available at the special Halloween price for its allocated hour, though most are expected to sell through in much less time.
The initial promotion saw hundreds of customers staying up all night to collar each bargain as it was made available.
Unlike the last promotion, the price won’t countdown by a pound every hour, but instead the price of each product will be set to make it an unbeatable bargain.
Dave Evans, New Media Director said “Customers love a bargain and they love a special event – our stock ticker promotion combines the two perfectly.”
“Like last time, we’ve chosen some excellent games and DVDs, all of which will be offered at frighteningly low prices. Also like last time customers will need to be quick with their ordering to get the best deals, but if they are they’ll save a fortune.”
“It’s the first time we’ve launched a Halloween promotion, but it’s part of our strategy to offer customers more deals and special events throughout the year.”
Although details of the 24 products and the times that they’ll be available remain a tight secret, it’s been revealed that two of the offers will be The Ring on DVD, and Project Zero on Xbox – each being sold for under a tenner.
Also this week, game.uk.com are unveiling their new refreshed look, ready for this year’s Christmas rush.
