13/05/2004

A revolutionary new “action” store designed for adrenaline junkies and wannabe heroes is unveiled in Listergate in Nottingham, as the new concept GAME store opens its doors on Thursday 13th May.

The new store - the first of its type in the UK - offers a massive range of video games, hi tech gadgets and daredevil adventure days.

The radical new design allows a full range of over 3,000 video games and DVDs to be available alongside a massive range of action and adventure days from Activity Superstore, and many unusual and quirky products and gadgets from Firebox.com.

In addition, GAME will have a wide range of activities taking place in and around the store this Saturday (15th). This includes a team from Firebox.com demonstrating a vast range of their latest games and gadgets, Activity Superstore exhibiting their range of experiences and showing off the latest Subaru rally car outside the store, plus Nintendo demonstrators will be encouraging customers to take gaming to the next level on the Gameboy Advance SP.

Store Manager said “We’re opening the most exciting shop in Britain! Everything on our shelves is dedicated to excitement, adrenaline and fun.”

“We let our customers fly aeroplanes, drive super cars, fight as SAS soldiers or become super spies – through video games, hi tech toys and by doing it for real with the experts.”

“Nottingham is the perfect place to open such a revolutionary new store.”

The two storey GAME in the Listergate Centre will feature many products from Firebox.com and Activity Superstore that have never before been sold on the High Street.
